We are looking for dedicated, experienced Support Workers to join our team of support workers in Sunderland to support individuals with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health conditions.
Full Time 37 hrs
£10.98/hr
Role
- As a Support Worker, you will help customers receive the best quality care and support they deserve.
- You will be involved in ensuring the customer are included in all aspects of their lives and decisions, every day will be different, so you can expect to undertake work that is varied and rewarding.
- You will work very closely with health professionals to support people to progress and enable them to reach their potential.
- You will be working as part of a team, providing and promoting person-centred care and support, enabling individuals to make choices and have control over their daily lives.
- Suitable applicants must be able to treat customers, families and their colleagues with dignity and respect.
- Have compassion by delivering the best possible care by treating customers with sensitivity and empathy.
- All staff must adhere to the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and personal responsibility worthy of the trust our customers
- Create and maintain a safe and supportive environment whereby the highest quality service is delivered by every member of the team.
Requirements
- Have a caring nature with a can-do positive attitude
- Have excellent written and communication skills
- Ideally, will have previous Support worker experience
- Health & safety awareness and be prepared to complete training
- The ability to work shifts (including evenings weekends and bank holidays)
